FARNBOROUGH LOAN MOVE FOR DEFENDER TONKS

AFC Bournemouth development squad defender Finn Tonks has completed a loan move to National League South promotion hopefuls Farnborough.
Tonks, who signed a new contract at Vitality Stadium in the summer, could feature when Boro host Chesham United at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium on Saturday.
The 19-year-old joins the Hampshire outfit having made 16 appearances during a loan spell with current National League South leaders Torquay United.
Tonks made 10 starts for the Gulls, including an impressive display when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Farnborough in August.
Winchester-born Tonks played a leading role during the Cherries’ first season with category two academy status, finishing as leading appearance-maker as they challenged for honours in the Professional Development League, the Premier League Cup and the Hampshire Senior Cup.
A two-time EFL Youth Alliance winner during his scholarship, Tonks featured 37 times, scoring twice, supplying ten assists and racking up no fewer than 14 clean sheets for Alan Connell’s team!!!
