AFC Bournemouth development squad midfielder Lewis Brown has completed a loan move to National League South outfit Salisbury.

The 20-year-old could make his debut for the Whites – and face Cherries teammate Finn Tonks – when they host Farnborough on Saturday.

Brown, who will spend the rest of the season with the Wiltshire club, has been on the books at Vitality Stadium since he was seven and is in his second year with Alan Connell’s development squad.

Salisbury, currently 18th in the table, are managed by Brian Dutton while former Cherries defender Callum Hart is on the coaching staff at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

Bournemouth-born Brown played a leading role during the Cherries’ first season with category two academy status, featuring 23 times as they challenged for honours in the Professional Development League, the Premier League Cup and the Hampshire Senior Cup.

A two-time EFL Youth Alliance winner during his scholarship, Brown has also had loan spells with Wimborne Town, AFC Totton and Truro City during his time with the Cherries!!
