We list players who are serving a suspension or are close to a ban from Premier League matches because of yellow cards
1.
Who is suspended?
Darwin Nunez and Matheus Cunha are the only players currently suspended.
Nunez collected his fifth yellow card of the campaign in Liverpool's 19th fixture - their final match before the suspension threshold increased to 32 matches.
The Uruguayan came on just before the hour mark in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United and was later booked for a foul on Matthijs de Ligt. He is suspended for the Matchweek 21 trip to Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, Cunha is serving a two-match ban for misconduct after he was charged by The FA following their match against Ipswich Town in Matchweek 16.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward will only miss one Premier League match, however, sitting out the meeting with Nottingham Forest on Monday, because the second fixture of his suspension is an FA Cup third-round tie.
The Brazilian will be available for selection again for Wolves' MW21 encounter with Newcastle United.
Unlike yellow cards, red cards are carried over to domestic cup competitions
