Marquinhos joins Cruzeiro on loan

Marquinhos has joined Cruzeiro on loan until the end of the Brazilian Serie A season in December.
The 21-year-old has recently returned from a year-long loan with fellow Brazilian side, Fluminense where he made 29 appearances in all competitions.
Marquinhos joined Fluminense just a few months after their first-ever Copa Libertadores title and went on to be a part of their success when they lifted silverware once again in March 2024, winning the Recopa Sudamericana against LDU Quito.
The Brazil youth international previously had short-term loan spells at both Norwich City in the Championship and French side Nantes in Ligue 1.
